Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

 

At Divers Frontiers, our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable, respectful, and professional diving experience for all participants.

 

This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behavior expected during all activities, including transportation, fun diving trips, guided tours, courses, training programs, and time spent at dive sites or facilities.

2. Safety First

 

Safety is our highest priority.

 

All participants must:

  • Follow all instructions given by instructors and staff

  • Attend and listen carefully to all briefings

  • Respect dive plans, depth limits, time limits, buddy procedures, and safety procedures

  • Use all equipment responsibly

  • Inform staff immediately if they feel unwell, uncomfortable, stressed, or unable to continue

  • Dive within their training, certification level, experience, and personal comfort

 

Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the activity without refund.

3. Respect for Staff and Other Participants

 

We expect all participants to behave respectfully and responsibly.

 

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Aggressive, abusive, or disruptive behavior

  • Harassment or discrimination of any kind

  • Behavior that creates an unsafe, uncomfortable, or disrespectful environment for others

  • Repeatedly ignoring staff instructions

  • Unsafe behavior during transportation, at dive sites, or during diving activities

 

Divers Frontiers reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any customer whose behavior negatively affects safety, staff, other guests, facilities, or the activity.

4. Health, Fitness & Substances

 

Participants must be physically and mentally fit to take part in the activity.

 

All participants must:

  • Provide honest and accurate health-related information where required

  • Disclose relevant medical matters through the appropriate required documents

  • Inform staff immediately if they feel unwell before or during an activity

  • Notify staff of any changes to their health or fitness before the activity begins

 

Diving or participating in activities while under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment, coordination, or safety is strictly prohibited.

 

Divers Frontiers may refuse participation if a customer appears unfit, impaired, or unable to participate safely.

5. Punctuality

 

Timeliness is essential for safe and smooth operations.

 

Participants must:

  • Arrive at the designated meeting point on time

  • Be ready to depart at the scheduled time

  • Follow any meeting or pickup instructions provided in advance

 

Late arrivals may result in missed activities. Where departure cannot reasonably be delayed, Divers Frontiers may leave as scheduled.

6. Environmental Responsibility

 

We are committed to protecting the ocean and marine environment.

 

Participants must:

  • Avoid touching, chasing, feeding, riding, or disturbing marine life

  • Maintain good buoyancy control

  • Avoid damaging coral, reefs, and underwater habitats

  • Never remove marine life, coral, shells, or natural items from the environment unless specifically permitted by law and activity rules

  • Avoid littering and help keep dive sites clean

7. Respect for Dive Sites & Facilities

 

Participants must respect all boats, vehicles, dive sites, accommodation areas, changing spaces, local facilities, and communities used during our activities.

 

Please follow all site-specific rules and help us maintain a positive relationship with the places we visit.

 

Non-diving companions must also follow all dive site, facility, transportation, and safety instructions.

8. Equipment Responsibility

 

Participants are expected to:

  • Handle all rental and training equipment with care

  • Use equipment only as instructed

  • Check equipment before use and report any concerns

  • Report any damage, loss, or malfunction immediately

 

Damage or loss caused by misuse, negligence, or unreasonable handling may result in additional charges.

9. Photography & Media

 

Participants are welcome to take personal photos and videos, provided this does not interfere with safety, instruction, dive procedures, marine life, or the experience of others.

 

Divers Frontiers may take photos or videos during activities. Identifiable images of participants will only be used for promotional purposes, such as our website, social media, YouTube, or marketing materials, with permission.

 

Participants must respect the privacy of other guests and staff when taking or sharing photos and videos.

10. Instructor Authority

 

All instructors operate in accordance with applicable training standards and safety procedures.

 

Instructor decisions regarding safety, dive conditions, activity changes, dive site selection, participant suitability, course progression, and certification are final and must be respected at all times.

11. Removal from Activities

 

Divers Frontiers reserves the right to remove any participant from an activity without refund if they:

  • Violate safety rules

  • Fail to follow instructions

  • Act in a disruptive, abusive, disrespectful, or unsafe manner

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Put themselves, staff, other participants, or the environment at risk

12. Agreement

 

By participating in Divers Frontiers services, you agree to follow this Code of Conduct and cooperate with our staff to help ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone.
