Course Overview:
The PADI Divemaster course focuses on professional development, not just diving skills.
Training is divided into three core areas:
1. Knowledge Development
You’ll study dive theory in depth, including physics, physiology, equipment, decompression theory, and dive management. This portion includes independent study using PADI Divemaster eLearning.
2. Water Skills & Stamina
You’ll complete water skills assessments to demonstrate comfort, control, and fitness in the water. These are not races — they evaluate technique, consistency, and endurance.
3. Practical Application
You’ll apply what you’ve learned through structured scenarios, workshops, and problem-solving exercises that reflect real diving situations faced by dive professionals.
Two written exams are included as part of the course.

As part of the Divemaster course, you’ll complete the following water skills assessments:

Swim 400 meters/yards nonstop (any stroke, no aids)
-
Swim 800 meters/yards using mask, snorkel, and fins
-
Tow or push a fully equipped diver 100 meters/yards at the surface
